Understanding Certificates of Analysis for Research Peptides & Compounds

A proper COA for research peptides and compounds should include identity (HPLC or MS), purity (typically ≥98–99%), net content, endotoxin limits, sterility (USP <71>), heavy metal screening, specification conformity, and — where offered — fentanyl contaminant screening.

Always cross-reference the lot number on the vial with the COA provided. Discrepancies should be reported immediately to the supplier.

Third-party testing from accredited labs (ISO 17025) provides the highest confidence for laboratory records and publications.
